PROMOTION PERIOD: April 3 to 20, 2025

Mechanics:
● To enter the contest, participants must fill out the registration form by scanning the QR code posted on UNIQLO Philippines’ official Facebook page or through this FAQ page.
● Each sticker pack should consist of 4 original designs, and should be submitted in a digital art format (.png, .jpg, .ai)
● The deadline of submission is on April 20, 2025 at 11:59 PM (Philippine Time)
● The three (3) final winners will be contacted between April 20 to 21, 2025. Failure to respond to the notification from our official email within two (2) days will automatically void the entry of the participant. 
● Official announcement on UNIQLO PH's official social media pages will be on May 3, 2025.
Winners will receive the following prizes:
      a.    PHP 30,000 worth of UNIQLO Shopping Spree 
              i.    Details on how to redeem will be emailed to the winner after they confirm and acknowledge UNIQLO team’s email notification.
              ii.   Please read the Terms & Conditions below to fully understand the scope and details.
      b.    Be named as a UTme! Featured Artist
              i.    Name of artist and Art work image & description to be featured on UNIQLO’s official social media pages and on the sales floor of UNIQLO SM Mall of Asia.

Terms and Conditions

  • Article 1. Summary and Objective of the Contest.

    This contest is intended to solicit Artwork under the theme “Filipino Summer, Redefined” for T-shirt designs which may be merchandised by Uniqlo (the “Contest”). There is no purchase necessary to enter the Contest. After Uniqlo reviews the Artworks, Uniqlo and its partners will review the Artworks and select winning Artworks (the “Winning Artwork” or “Winning Artworks”). This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part. The Winning Artworks may be publicized, merchandised and sold through Uniqlo UTme! Printer stores (UNIQLO SM Mall of Asia, UNIQLO Manila Global Flagship Store, UNIQLO Nuvali Roadside Store, UNIQLO SM Seaside City Cebu, UNIQLO SM Lanang Premier in Summer 2025 through Uniqlo’s UTme! Service. Detailed rules of the Contest are set out as below:
    1. Submission period: April 3 (Thursday) to April 20, 2025 (Thursday) Philippine Time (UT C/GMT +9 hours) 23:59.
    2. Eligibility
    1. The Contest is open to all Filipino citizens residing in the Philippines, aged 18 and above, regardless of gender.
    2. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Contest: (a) officers or employees of Uniqlo and its affiliates, or (b) members of these persons’ immediate families (spouses and/or parents, children, and siblings, and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and/or persons living in the same households as these persons (whether or not related thereto), or (d) Contest administrators or anyone professionally connected with this Contest.

    D.  Manner of examination: Uniqlo and its partners will review the Artworks and will, at their sole discretion, select the Winning Artworks that best reflect the Contest theme. Uniqlo’s decision is final, and no correspondence for appeal will be entered into with entrants.
    E. Notification to Winners: The entrants that have submitted the Winning Artworks (the “Winners”) will be notified individually via e-mail. The notification is scheduled to be made between April 21 to 22, 2025.
    F. Merchandising Winning Artworks: The Artworks selected as Winning Artworks may be merchandised on T-shirts of the Uniqlo brand at Uniqlo’s sole discretion through its UTme! service and may be sold through Uniqlo UTme! Printer stores (UNIQLO SM Mall of Asia, UNIQLO Manila Global Flagship Store, UNIQLO Nuvali Roadside Store, UNIQLO SM Seaside City Cebu, UNIQLO SM Lanang Premier in the Philippines. The Winning Artwork shall be made available as a UTme! sticker pack in the iPad of the select stores mentioned above.
      The commercial terms and conditions in connection with merchandising Winning Artworks, including but not limited to sales areas, product categories, sizes, prices or release date shall be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of Uniqlo.


    G. Prizes:
    1. UNIQLO shopping spree worth PHP 30,000 (valid until 60 days after the receipt of notification via participant’s email address)
      1. The winner may only use the prize in one store visit.
      2. Prize is not transferable or convertible to actual cash.
    2. Winner’s artwork, legal name, and photo to be printed & featured in UNIQLO SM Mall of Asia’s sales floor for a period of 3 months, from May 9 to July 31, 2025.
    3. Winning art work to be featured in the iPad of all UTme! printer stores, and to be made available for selling for a period of 6 months, from May 9 to October 31, 2025.

    Uniqlo may change the prizes or set other new prizes, considering the number and contents of submissions and social circumstances at its sole and absolute discretion. Prizes including supplementary prizes are non-transferable and supplementary prizes cannot be sold or exchanged for cash.
     

     

  • Article 2. Entry

    1. Entrants shall submit their Artworks in accordance with the Rules and all entry instructions provided on the Registration Form.
    2. By entering the Contest, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by the Rules and all entry instructions form part of the Rules.
    3. Entrants shall be responsible for accuracy of the data submitted for their entries and shall submit the data by themselves.
    4. Uniqlo reserves the right at its sole discretion not to consider, and exclude or disqualify any entry without prior notice, where
      1. the entrant is and/or was deemed to be acting/ have acted in violation of the Rules or any rules of other similar contests, or abusing or tampering with the operation of the Rules or any rules of other similar contests
      2. the information which entrants submitted includes false information, or
      3. any other reason that Uniqlo considers in its sole and absolute discretion as being inappropriate to accept an entry.

     

  • Article 3. Representation and Warranty

    1. Entrants represent and warrant or covenant as follows with respect to the submission of Artwork:
      1. The submission has not been made in another person’s name or with false information.
      2. The Artwork is an entirely original work of the entrant. In case that the entrant is a representative of a group with two or more people who have developed the Artwork together, such people have read and accepted the Rules, as well as all other terms and conditions provided from time to time by Uniqlo in connection with the Contest.
      3. Entrants have not entered into any agreement with any third party that contradicts or infringes any of the provisions of the Rules, as well as all other terms and conditions provided from time to time by Uniqlo in connection with the Contest.
      4. Entrants have all exclusive legal rights in regard to the Artwork.
      5. In no circumstances does the Artwork infringe any rights of third parties, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, publicity, privacy or reputation.
      6. The Artwork was newly created by the entrants only for the Contest, and the Artwork has never been published before no matter in whatever channels and/or via what kind of form. (At least, the Artwork has never been published until Uniqlo publishes Winning Artworks on the Website)
      7. Entrants do/will not have recourse to artificial intelligence to generate any parts of the Artwork.
      8. Entrants do/will not: a) use images, illustrations or statements in their Artworks related to, but not limited to, alcohol drinking, smoking, excessive violence, blood, offensive words, political or religious meanings, implicit or explicit sexual remarks, b) use representations which include, evoke or imitate specific persons or intellectual properties which belong to other third parties, including but not limited to characters, brands, logos, images, illustrations, styles, compositions and linguistic expressions, regardless of whether with approvals from licensors or not, c) disclose confidential information of Uniqlo or its partners which entrants may receive according to the Contest, d) cause any damages to Uniqlo, its partners or any third parties, e) violate public morals and good order or f) violate or potentially violate any applicable laws.
      9. To the extent the Artwork contains any Personal Information (including images of living individuals), the entrant has obtained written permission from the individual to use such Personal Information for the purposes of the Contest (such permission to be produced upon request).

     

  • Article 4. Rights of Artworks and Grant of Rights.

     
    1. Notwithstanding Entrants’ rights in and to the Artworks and Derivative Works, entrants agree that they shall not use the Artworks, the Derivative Works or any part thereof for any purpose other than entering the Contest such as submitting them for other design competitions from the time of entering the Contest until the announcement of the Winning Artworks by Uniqlo. After Uniqlo’s announcement of the Winning Artworks of the Contest, entrants may use the Artworks and the Derivative Works, which were not selected as the Winning Artworks of the Contest. Such announcement shall be made by Uniqlo publishing the final Winning Artworks on its official website. The announcement is planned to be made on May 2, 2025, but Uniqlo may determine such schedule at its sole discretion.
    2. From the announcement of the Winning Artworks until October 31, 2025 (the “Exclusive Period”), the Winners shall grant Uniqlo an exclusive, royalty-free right to, directly or through its affiliates and contractors, use the Winning Artworks to manufacture, merchandise, sell, distribute and promote the merchandised products in the Philippines through its UTme! service. During the Exclusive Period, the Winners shall not use the Winning Artworks or their Derivative Works for any purpose other than the Contest or grant any third party a right to use them without the prior consent of Uniqlo.
    3. After the Exclusive Period, the Winners shall grant Uniqlo a royalty-free right to, directly or through its affiliates and contractors, (i) sell the merchandised products manufactured during the Exclusive Period and use the Winning Artworks for such sales (including use in promotional materials or packaging), and (ii) use the Winning Artworks for internal purposes (including, but not limited to, internal events, awards shows, company history materials, show reels, and collection portfolio), IR materials (including, but not limited to, business report, annual report, and sustainability report), and any other non-commercial purposes (including, but not limited to, archival display in sales channels and exhibitions, and sustainability activities).
    4. In relation to the use of the Artworks on the products, Winners will be credited on the Uniqlo website, but not on the products themselves. In relation to Uniqlo’s use of the Artworks for internal and non-commercial purposes, Uniqlo will endeavor to credit the Winner as the artist, subject to any formatting restrictions which prevent it from doing so.
    5. Uniqlo may request the Winners or an entrant to sign and submit a form to confirm the attribution of all rights in the Artworks, by a date specified.

     

  • Article 5. Information of Entrants

    Uniqlo is responsible for the collection and management of entrants’ personal data. Uniqlo shall use personal information of the entrants in accordance with the Uniqlo Privacy Policy, which is available on Uniqlo’s website. By entering the Contest, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted Uniqlo’s Privacy Policy.

     

  • Article 6. Information Control

    Uniqlo may delete, at its sole discretion and without notice to entrants, from promotional materials, Website and other websites operated by Uniqlo, product design and any other Uniqlo’s products or publications related to Contest, a part or all of the Artwork or other information that:
    1. Contains words or images that may harm any third parties or Uniqlo, or words or images of a derogatory, lewd, violent and/or malicious nature;
    2. Uniqlo determines, at its sole discretion, that words or images contained in the Artwork or information may infringe the intellectual properties or other rights of a third party;
    3. Contains Personal Information, such as a name, address, telephone number, and/or e-mail address;
    4. Contains potentially harmful content, including unauthorized computer programs or viruses;
    5. Potentially violates the laws of the Republic of the Philippines; must be removed as ordered by an administrative agency or public agency for legal reasons; or as Uniqlo has determined at its sole discretion, contains content considered inappropriate for submission to the Contest.

     

  • Article 7. Website Maintenance

    Uniqlo may take the Website offline, in whole or in part, without prior notice to the entrants, if:
    1. Required for regular and emergency maintenance of systems related to the Website;
    2. A fire, electrical failure, or interference by third parties makes it difficult to operate the Website; or
    3. Uniqlo considers it necessary to discontinue the Website for unavoidable reasons.

     

  • Article 8. Disclaimer

    Uniqlo and its affiliates shall not be liable for the followings:
    1. Any damage or inconvenience to other entrants or third parties caused by the use of the Website by entrants;
    2. Any damage or inconvenience to the entrants from the inability to use the Website or to submit an entry via the Website or other use of the Website for any reason;
    3. Any damage or inconvenience to the entrants from the failure to receive an entry or inaccurate information as a result of technical/telecommunications failure; and
    4. Any and all liabilities, losses or damages arising from or in connection with the award, receipt, use or misuse of prizes and/or participation in any prize related activities.
    Uniqlo reserves the right to cancel or suspend a part or all of the Contest at its sole discretion should viruses, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Uniqlo or the Contest administrators corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Contest. In such cases, Uniqlo may award prizes by a drawing from eligible entries received prior to cancellation or suspension. Uniqlo and its affiliates are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by any of the equipment, programming or personnel associated with or utilized in this Contest.
    Uniqlo may withdraw prizes and/or terminate merchandising of t-shirts through its UTme! service with Winning Artworks without prior notice to an entrant, irrespective of the originality of the Artwork submitted by the entrant, if similar artwork is already publicly available from outside Uniqlo stores.

     

  • Article 9. Compliance with Rules

    1. Entrants shall comply with the Rules, as well as all other terms and conditions provided from time to time by Uniqlo in connection with the Contest.
    2. If an entrant breaches or is reasonably considered by Uniqlo to breach the provisions of the preceding Article9-A, Uniqlo may reject or disqualify such entrant’s entry to the Contest or may withdraw prizes and/or cease merchandising of t-shirts with Winning Artworks at its sole discretion.
    3. In the event that a Winner has been disqualified from the Contest for any reasons, such Winner shall be responsible for the return of all prizes to Uniqlo at his/her own expense within 30 days of such notification.
    4. IN THE EVENT OF A BREACH OF THE RULES BY AN ENTRANT, UNIQLO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK ALL REMEDIES AVAILABLE BY LAW. ENTRANTS SHALL AT ALL TIMES REMAIN LIABLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH BREACH OF THE RULES BY THE ENTRANT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THOSE EXPENSES AND LOSSES INCURRED IN THE TERMINATION OF MERCHANDISING AND DAMAGES DUE TO ANY THIRD PARTY CLAIMS.

     

  • Article 10. Others

    1. Entrants shall be responsible for all expenses incurred in connection with the submission and/or creation of Artwork to the Contest, including installation fees for computer devices and telecommunications devices, telephone charges, and internet provider fees.
    2. Entrants shall use any of the browsers recommended below for submission to the Contest via the Website.

    1. The Rules may be amended without prior notice to entrants.
    2. Any issues with the Contest or the Website that cannot be resolved hereunder shall be settled by negotiations in good faith between the entrant and Uniqlo.
